These bi-fold door top pivots are constructed of steel and come in a zinc-plated finish. They are spring-loaded and feature 1/4 in. outside diameter pins with 3/8 in. outside diameter shafts. These pivot pins mount on the top/back edges of bi-fold doors with nail-down tabs and require 3/8 in. holes. Use these top-mounted pivot pins where hardware is missing, damaged or simply not working properly. This is a paneled mirror door roller assembly with a concave nylon roller. Used on Monarch Mirror Doors L-Series. The grooved ball bearing nylon roller provides a smooth ride as it slide back and forth. The flat nylon roller is 1-1/2 in. in diameter. Note that the adjusting screw is centered on the top of the housing and the tabs on either side will insert into slots on that side and will be held in place by the existing screws.
This is a bi-fold closet door top pivot rod as well as the top and bottom guide rod used on Slimfold bi-fold door systems and a variety of others. The 5/16 in. rod is 6-3/8 in. long, comes in a nylon sleeve, and is spring-loaded. The nylon sleeve has a hook/clamp that holds it in place in the steel framed bi-fold door panels.
