These seamers are ideal for making clean and accurate bends and seams in the aluminum roof flashing, coil stock or fascia. The Jaws feature depth graduations in 1/4 in. (6.35 mm) increments to a maximum 2 in. (50.8 mm) bending depth. The jaws of these large die-cast seamers are bowed so that they will hold firmly and evenly across the entire jaw width even when engaged on very light material. The large surface coverage this tool offers also has an appeal for limited flattening/straightening tasks in light gauge painted steel including edges of auto body panels. Durable construction offers long, dependable service life under normal use. These tools also feature rust resistant nickel plating. Light duty tool without grips that makes a single crimp for downsizing aluminum downspouts.

Snap lock plastic skirting and siding to finishing trim. Makes tabs in the cut edge of siding panel used as a finishing course at top of wall or below window. Tabs lock into utility trim. Punch raises a high projection to compensate for natural relaxation of vinyl plastic. It also works well on aluminum siding but is not recommended for steel. NOTE: The SL5 should not be used when PERMATABS are required to snap into finished trim. For this application we recommend using the Malco SL1 or SL2 Snap Lock Punch.
