Designed for use on heavy wood gates and doors. Cane bolt anchors one gate while the gate latch acts as a stop for the other gate. Variable bolt throw and holder store bolt in open position and prevent its removal. WeatherGuard - when subjected to 312 hours of salt fog spray testing (BHMA A138.18), zinc plated hardware showed severe corrosion while hardware with WeatherGuard protection withstood these harsh conditions with very little deterioration.
